2I just wanted to see what this would look like. The values are a surprise, Lindor is not getting enough respect there. Mets could take the savings and grab Tucker or Suarez, or both. Sox move Story to 2nd and the infield settles as Vientos/Casas/Okamoto/Murakami battle out 1b and 3b.
There's not a lot of surplus value left on Lindor's contract, as he's still owed $206.8M over the next six years, as he ages deeper into his 30s and may need to move off of SS in a while. Nonetheless, our model still has his field value at $220M, which means if he were a free agent today he'd get a 6-year deal at that price (for roughly a $37M AAV), which seems more than fair.
