Dodgers need OF help and have an extra catcher who’s blocked. Red Sox could use some catching help and have a surplus of OF.

I don’t think Rushing is blocked, he’s MLB depth. Just like the Red Sox do not have a surplus of Outfielders. 26 man active rosters carry 2 Catchers and 4 Outfielders. Plus, Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes indicated during last week's GM Meetings that the team hasn't ruled out giving Rushing some reps in the outfield. Easy decision for both clubs, 👎👎
