@Grover how has Waldichuk recovered? He didn't have a good 25, but Cleveland is good with pitchers....
Well, he pitched like a guy trying to build back his arm strength while playing in a bandbox. His velocity was back to pre-surgery norms but I didn't hear anything about pitch shape and his Command came and went. I'll put it this way... I'll be pissed if he gets claimed on waivers. There were other guys on the 40 that I'd had sent packing ahead of Waldichuk. My guess is the A's are hoping his $825K salary will dissuade other teams from poaching him.
Cleveland has some free budget, so if they like him, I doubt they wouldn't put in a claim offer...
He is there for the taking. Super 2 but with minor league options remaining.
Fair enough... Who Cleveland would cut to get him is hard to say, but if they like him then they better snag him some how...
