10Cleveland is not rebuilding... The offer is fine, but this isn't something Cleveland would take...
Good Lord! You want a good player in return for a steamy pile?
I think that given that his '25 wasn't a particularly great year, they are likely to wait until the deadline and hope that he plays well so they can get a better return. I would be shocked if they went through next winter without trading him.
I actually think Kwan will get the QO from Cleveland... I don't think they will trade him...
Cleveland is not going to offer Kwan $20M+. Have you fallen and bumped your head?
The QO is for one season and the last season they have control of Ramirez, they will absolutely offer him the QO if they don't trade him this offseason since why trade an all-star leadoff guy when they are going for the playoffs...
No they are not going to offer that to him. He will be dealt no later than next offseason.
This isn't a steamy pile. In fact, this is a really good set of prospects, but I think the Guards would rather have a set of players in various levels of the farm system rather than guys all at the low end. We'd need at least one player who would impact our major league roster - preferably a hitter.
I think BigBat is a bit off about the return, but this return would be for a rebuilding club not one who wishes to compete in 26... I will stand by the fact Cleveland would probably want a return of Freeland, Ryan and Lindsey for Kwan and nothing less... I feel like Cleveland isn't going to trade Kwan since they made the price so high...
For a team in a contending window that offer is a steamy pile of garbage. Not one of those prospects is anywhere close to ready and Cleveland isn't giving up one of their most productive players for that. It is nonsensical to think so. If the Dodgers want Kwan then the offer starts with Ryan or a one for one with Sheehan coming back to Cleveland. Best leadoff hitter and defensive LFer in MLB isn't going to come cheap.
