1Truth to tell, I've posted a couple of these kinds of trades between STL & Seattle for Luis Castillo when talking heads were talking about the M's wanting out from beneath his salary. The idea to pick up a high value prospect (in that instance Ryan Sloan.) It doesn't sound like that will fly, so maybe Ed Rodriguez & the Snakes. Give them some salary relief to enable the infield FAs, get a LH veteran starter for the Cards to head the SP staff & deepen the talent pool in the minors. The Cards also NEED another Comp A pick after dropping to 13 in the lottery, we need more Bonus Pool $.
