1Abreu offers solid OF production with power that cards need. Is a good exchange that fits both needs. Houck is likely not available until 2027, so Sox are relieved of a sunk cost while Cards can treat him like a triple A prospect for 2026 who can enter the rotation in 2027. A fall back for STL if Mariners can’t swing a trade.
