LOL. And I won’t disappoint. So first off, I don’t think the Rays traded Taj Bradley to get Jax, just to turn around and trade Jax at their first opportunity. I don’t think he gets traded before the Deadline at the earliest. Then there is the return. Let’s start with Hoerner. He’s good and makes the Rays better, but the Rays aren’t giving him a 4 year extension he would accept. Hell, he’s owed $12 million this year and the Rays only have about $6 million of available payroll, so he’s probably not a trade target as is, but if BTV is correct, he should be earning about $25-30MM per year. Rays ain’t paying that. Triantos is a throw-away player in my opinion. He does have any power and he doesn’t play good defense. He doesn’t make the Rays better. .
