Walker is a 35-year-old 1B with zero trade market interest, who declined severely last year in all facets of his game, and whose projections this year show more of the same. Teams would be getting a replacement-level player who appears to be washed, so it's not a crazy valuation.
Underlying stats don’t really scream washed to me. Still plus bat speed and plus barrel rate. Also a positive OAA. As a Mets fan, I’d happily take 235 with 28 HRs and good 1B defense
