Hear me out: Phillies need to pivot after Bichette. They acquire Duran to play CF, making Marsh and Garcia a platoon in RF and pushing Crawford to LF. Bohm takes 3B for Red Sox and Story can be 3B or 2B (move Stott around if needed). Red Sox get off Story’s contract for 2027 and acquire Kerkering (change of scenery) and Escobar (top 100 prospect). Casty offsets Story’s salary. Money can move around here, too. Red Sox can cut Casty and still save money off Story.
