3ππΌββοΈ Interesting, De La Cruz plays 2B, Mayer 3B, middle infield depth is a need, opens up a 40 man roster spot for Suarez. π€ tough one, but I think Iβd keep the outfield & pitching depth and pass.
I'm not trading Elly to the Red Sox without getting either Meyer or Anthony back in the deal.
After Elly turned down that nearly $300M extension the Reds offered, they should be more than willing to listen. I would play him @ 3B & move Mayer, if it was me. That is a lot of ML depth for the Reds, but man that is superstar potential for Boston. He could well become a 135 OPS+ guy at 3B for Boston...for years.
