1Of all the Singer trades I've submitted today, I like this one the most. Matthews' future is most likely in the outfield where the Sox could use him the most. Singer gives the Astros a dependable back end starter for relatively cheap. And Robert gives the Reds a right now bat they need to hit behind Elly. Plus the cash involved gives the Reds money to sign a swing man type like Jacob Junis to hold down the rotation early and then move to the pen when Lowder and Burns get their legs under themselves at the major league level.
