Down vote for the A's. Gorman has a worse career K-rate vs. RHP than he does vs. LHP and he hasn't been a good defender at any position. Hansen could have been had for free in the Rule 5 draft and everyone passed. Odds are Thomas ends up a short-side platoon outfielder and that's a better ceiling than anyone the Cards are offering here.
