2Sox get themselves under the 2nd luxury tax threshold, and add a right handed infielder with a low floor but high ceiling to compete for a roster spot.
Red Sox making a decision on a trade (with the 2nd luxury tax threshold in mind) won’t be made until the deadline (or later in the year). I don’t see Sandoval being traded for a roll of the dice on Lawlar (who I really like).
