Brewers would get a PTBNL... The whole concept... Brewers get a solid hitting prospect who plays a solid 1B... Cleveland gets SP depth and gets the 4th OF they badly need... I don't think Kayfus is actually available, but getting a near ready SP with a plus defense CF prospect who is at AAA, at least makes sense for what Cleveland needs right now. I don't think Cleveland will be going after a veteran SP, but they will be adding a SP that is near or at MLB ready if they are making a move...

With Valera hitting the cover off the ball in Columbus and Velasquez doing the same in Akron, it might be time to deal Kwan too. Anyway, I'll pass on Gasser and Lara. Just not enough for me to move Kayfus and a PTBNL. Lara is a LH specialist and Lara is a defensive specialist. We don't need either. I'd rather go with Logan Allen and Stuart Fairchild over Gasser and Lara.

I have started to wonder the same on Kwan, problem it needs to be Watson or Halpin knocking down the door. They have corner options aplenty, but someone has to man CF. Said this in another thread, but the 40 man is real. If you wanted to bring up Fairchild right now or Bazz is ready or even Ralphy knocks it down, who is the cut? Cut bait on Fry? It's tough right now and I see 3-5 sure adds in the offseason.
