1🦨 Very strange. Not just that it was a bad start by our ace, but that it was truly one of the very worst starts I've ever seen (or can recall). Remember when Houck was struggling before his last start, (but in a way that Crochet seemingly hasn't been). You just don't see pitchers in a performance with that many standard deviations removed from their baseline. And, I am reminded that Houck had had a rough spring training (like Crochet), and neither he nor the team seemed to suspect an injury, until suddenly he was getting Tommy John…..
