i think he is around a 6-7 valuation so i took my value into account with the mock trade
I think he’s the Rays best pitching prospect and should be valued higher than top 100 prospect Hopkins, so 30-35 MM. He’s being valued like a reliever when all he does his dominate start after start. Maybe when he’s fully ramped up and has destroyed AAA like he did AA folks (ie: Baseball America) will open their eyes. Also, Rays have had the best pitching staff in baseball the past month. They don’t really need old friend O’Brien, who they traded away years ago.
