As a Twins fan I hate it. But that sure would be a great fit for the Guardians...Thankfully they're SOO cheap it probably won't happen.
Losing Contreras would be painful.
I don't think Ingle is available in a deal from Cleveland's perspective not without Boston paying for literally all of Contreras' contract... Cleveland is a notorious hoarder of prospects and Ingle, batting wise, may be one of their best prospects they have had in the last twenty years... I have a hunch he will be the starting LF in Cleveland for 27...
Replace ingle with Kayfus and Cozart and you have a deal
I think both Cozart and Kayfus could be had, but do not be surprised if they want too much for them...
Looks like he will get a 30 day look before the deadline.
Since Cleveland is moving Ingle up, it makes it even less likely that Cleveland is even thinking about trading him... Unless you are offering an All-Star RH bat with years of control, Ingle ain't going anywhere...
