Shaq: hopes Cholo falls to Rays. If I could guarantee myself a 3 win SS for the next half decade, I'd do that. I think he's most likely Brandon Crawford, but could be Bregman if his power plays. WhatI think plays out: Sox Emerson, Rays Cholo, Twins Lackey. Edit: I remember asking Jeff Sullivan about 15 years ago, if a team would be guaranteed Adam LaRoche's 2012, would they draft him #1 overall. Interestingly enough, Sullivan now works for the Rays, and Roch I believe is better than LaRoche. For what it's worth, Sullivan said in most drafts, yes, they would draft Adam Laroche 1st overall. But not in a Harper type of year, where the prep has HOF potential. So is this a Harper type of year, and how much sway does Sullivan have? I would do Roch. Starting SS next year, 3 WAR SS, love it. I like Emerson, he is not Bryce Harper. So give me that 3-4 WAR Adam LaRoche. There's still plenty of high risk high reward at our 2nd pick.
