I don't think it would be surprising if Lindor gets traded. He and Soto hate each other. But the Rays have too many shortstop options in 2 years to trade for a 32-year-old that they'd owe 150 mil to. I like the thinking though! Ken Babby keeps posting on twitter about the 2.5 billion stadium he demands the city build him, so his deadline moves better not be for some shitty reliever and a different backup catcher.
I have no interest in trading for the downside years of a huge contract. Not Lindor, not Betts, not Machado or Bogaerts, not any of them.
