I'm a Red Sox fan. Langeliers is a 4 WAR catcher with 2 1/2 years left. He has much more than 44MM surplus value
I'm an A's fan. Even if you believe Langeliers has more surplus value you're bidding against yourself. Short of Early needing TJS after he throws his next pitch... this is much too generous.
Neither of us know how other teams or the A's value Langeliers. What do you mean I'm "bidding against myself" exactly
AJ Preller exists so you can never completely rule out a model breaking trade but... I doubt any of Boston's competition would offer more than 1 player/prospect the value of Early or Eyanson, especially while kicking in a replacement starting Catcher. Yet you're offering all 3. That's bidding against yourself.
