Lol, no they don't. Moreno has no desire to trade Trout, and Trout has given no indication he wants to be traded. And the average Angels fan could care less if Moreno has 20% of payroll tied up in the team's franchise player for three more years – a third of the stadium is still full of Trout jerseys. It's sunk cost, and the team isn't going to get rid of an icon, take on an expensive underwater contract and trade away one of their two best starters to save money.
