Why? Once Casas gets healthy he is stuck behind WC40 for the next year again at least. You shred Story’s salary. Witherspoon might be great but there’s a ton of pitching f depth in the majors and minors in Boston. Marcelo is a causality, but you have Franklin arias lurking who I’d confidently bet can produce the same level Mayer has thus far
Age, length of contract, Salary, performance & attitude. If Breslow wants out, bring John Henry a trade package that has these elements all attached to the player you want and you’ll be out on your you know what real fast.
That’s a fair point I can agree with. I thought you meant the players being given up was fireable. Can completely understand the distain for Lindor tho.
