That's a lot of talent to give up for a pitcher that only works about half a season annually.
Look at the AFV values. The Athletics are making out better in this deal, despite the comparative excess value numbers. I'm leaning against this deal for the Reds based on that, while approving it for the Athletics.
I respect the values, there's no denying Hunter Greene's talent. It's just his availability that's an issue.
