You’re posting those offensive numbers like they are bad and would not help Cleveland. They are a bottom 3 offense in baseball, those numbers would absolutely help. Not to mention the fact he’s right handed and plays an elite centerfield defense with lots of control. Replacing Halpin with him would be a legitimate difference.
Cleveland is likely to offer for him sure... But not at that price point... His numbers are skewed a bit because he hits lefties well. Young is not any better at hitting righties than Halpin is... He is a short side of the platoon RH OF, which doesn't merit one of the best hitting C prospects in all of the minors... Young makes sense in a platoon or 4th OF role... You aren't trading Ingle for that type of player...
