This is the level of the expected of Tarik deal. Do you think that the Dodgers had bluffed everyone by their expect offered or was Tiger GM just lazy?
I think the Tigers front office blew it, every aspect of it, plain & simple.
I think that far too many people were expecting a major overpay. Too many RS fans have a moronic out view of the Mookie deal. The RS dropped 48 million of David Price's contract+ 12 propscept WAR x 8 million another 96 million. 142 million RS for an ONE year Mookie Betts + 27 million Betts contract. Seems like a great deal for RS. Plus the 2020 RS were going to suck guaranteed caused by Dombomski's contact tricks for their 2018 World Series win. Yet, most RS fans condemn the Mookie deal. The Tigers should have gotten a better secondary prospect instead of these two worthless prospects.
