Also, how often does this site update values? For instance, the Tigers have multiple players that are out for the remainder of the season with values that are still where they were at the beginning of the season (i.e. Funkhouser). Obviously missing months of the year and possibly some of next year should have reduced their value, as it should have likewise increased Soto's value here given his continued steady production and success.

Good luck convincing me that the Mets, who have World Series aspirations, would blink at this "imbalance" when turning their worst position on the team (LHRP) from an abyss to a literal top-end strength. There aren't many two-deep lefties in the pen that have been as good as Soto and Chafin this year - and Soto is worth a LOT more than "11" with his extra control. For a guy, while a lofty prospect, has only reached High-A so far? Yeah, I don't think they're going to hang up. They only have 2-3 more years to go at it before they have to spend again and retool. This moves the needle for this year and next. The Tigers need to stop trading for 2-3 15-20th-ranked prospects and start pooling options together to target top 3-5 ranked prospects. An organization shouldn't be shuffling depth off on to the Tigers if they want to acquire legitimate MLB playoff-caliber players. But, you know, Al Avila.
