I have to comment on this proposed trade because I keep seeing this happen. The most foolish thing the Reds FO could do would be to include a negative point value player (especially Moustakis) in a trade for Luis Castillo. This only diminishes his value and the return from trade partners. I know there are those in Red land who believe the Reds FO is only trying to reduce payroll and fail to embrace a restructure that will increase the Redlegs chances of actually winning a world series. If the Rewds FO actually made this trade, these doubters would have evidence of that. .

I agree it's not a smart trade from the Red's perspective, and I probably didn't provide enough value coming from the Mets. I think a legit guy like Ziegler would make it more realistic
