5Like this trade a lot. I hate to admit but for the future of Reds, Castillo has to be traded for high ranking talent. Can't afford an underwhelming return. Both of these prospects are listed inside the MLB top 100 and both potentially have high impact bat projection with probability of playing in 2023. One fills OF spot and other potentially could be a future 1B. If the Reds made this trade, these prospects would slot into our #2 & #3 spot giving the reds a total of 6 top 100. IMO, that's what the Reds have to do in order to be competitive short term. Reds have 4 of top 73 picks in 2022 draft also. Make this trafe with Dodgers even if you have to throw in another player.
Lead with Bobby Miller plus others. Buehler's injury could be an elbow. The need for Castillo is increased. Low balling the Reds will not get him to Chavez Ravine. There will be other teams competing for Castillo.
Heck Trade Mahle/Castillo/Warren to Dodgers for Bobby Miller, Andy Pages/Vargus and Pepiot. 4 top 100.

Miller would be great too. Miller and Vargus or Pages for Castillo and Pham.
That's probably fair, but I think Miller might be the only 'untouchable' prospect in the Dodger's system. He has true ace upside, and I don't think the org would think that 1.5 years of Castillo is worth giving that up. Generally this front office is aggressive with trades but never trade their top top guys (Ruiz was an exception because of Will Smith having the catcher role nailed on), so I didn't put Miller here not because it wouldn't be fair but because there's no chance of that happening.
