1Swapping KK for Daza makes no sense even if you take the cash out of the equation. KK is a 2.5 fWAR player who makes the Rays better. They might trade him to save money because they have suitable replacements in-house and because they need to call up J.Lowe. However, they aren't going to trade him for a no-bat defender who would then block Lowe, especially when Daza's skill set (defense and hitting LHP) is performed better by Margot, who would still be a Ray. The only way this trade works is if the Rays also trade Margot in a separate trade. Even then, I don't see them kicking in this much cash unless it's to get a really good player in return (ie: better than Daza).
