4Take out Morales and add Moniak and Muzzioti and this deal works. KC needs outfielders. The next question is where does Whit play? You have Segura at 2nd (move him to ss or 3b?) And bharp and cutch in the corners.
I just don't see the fit for the Phillies whatsoever. Whitt is a great player but thats not the need for this team. Starts and ends with pitching as a whole and then maybe a centerfielder. No way Dombrowski would do this unless he got very desperate.

Whit plays center field - he played in college moved off because of some guy named Bubba :| he's an average - fringe plus defender in center. Dombrowski loves to mortgage the future to win now, but I could see the royals valuing Muzzioti more than Morales cause he's a stereotypical royals prospect - good defense, speed, average over power.
Whit can play cf on occasion, but not regular duty. Not anymore. 2b or corner OF. Preferably 2b
