IMO the Nats would take less than a second before signing on to this trade. It doesn't look like the Nats are going anywhere and they are getting older. Getting a very good prospect in Groshans and a guy like Hiraldo with some upside, would be a nice exchange for Scherzer. For the Jays they get a very good SP without sacrificing any of their MLB roster in their quest for the AL East title.
