3I cannot imagine on what planet the Reds would give up a Gray for the most overrated player on this site (Jansen) and a low level prospect. The Reds have Banhart and don't have any use for Jansen and his horrendous .143/.217 average.
You miss the point. The Reds already have Barnhart and there is a much better chance that Jansen stays the same or gets worse as a hitter. Losing Gray to get a back up and a low,low level prospect just isn't worth it.
Jansen is only 26 and is a way above average defender, Like almost an elite defender. A change in scenery could make him a great catcher. Plus it is the website saying that's his value so don't come at my neck for it.
