1Oakland is one of the few fits I see for JD Davis at the moment, fresh off Oakland trading their DH Khris Davis recently. The Mets are currently looking around for a SP & 3B, and I see an under the radar opportunity here with Neuse, who is blocked at 3B by Chapman, and a mid-rotation type in Manaea. JD would be a terrific DH for them, as his Hard Hit% the last 2 seasons (47.9, 45.2) would show. Davis was among the many last season that suffered an aberration due to the absence of hitting coach Chili Davis, who was huge for him in 2019.
