1In case the Mets acquire JBJ, it would be in their best interest to find a platoon partner for him. Run prevention is a big thing for the Mets this year, so I can't think of a better choice than NY native Harrison Bader. Bader is a career .264/.338/.517/.855 hitter Vs LHP and in the last 3 seasons, Bader has seen his Hard Hit% increase, so I see a possible late bloomer at the plate. 2018: 30.8 2019: 35.3 2020: 35.8 Andrew Miller fits the Mets thinking in taking on contracts with a year remaining and the need for a big late inning LHRP. The familiarity of New York with Miller is a plus.
