How would this help the Brewers' situation? Two guys who haven't played rookie ball yet and are iffy to even make the big leagues. Their eta would be 2024/2025 if ever. Zero help. Suarez is so bad he wouldn't make their 40-man roster.

Brewers have the 30th farm in baseball, that needs to be fixed ASAP or they won't have a long window. Both prospects are very high upside too, which is great for the Brewers to work with. As for Suarez, he's struggled so far but for the Brewers, it's worth a shot. Overall, this move is one that's more future-oriented than now oriented, and with the emergence of Devin Williams, Hader isn't someone the Brewers need to necessarily keep anymore. It's best for the Brewers to capitalize ASAP to get their farm back to normal.

With the NL Central being weak in 2021, the Brewers are in a win-now mode before their young pitchers get too expensive. They can compete right away if they fix the 1B & 3B holes. Hader is their major trade chip and they can't waste him on two maybes. Right now the Brewers would send Suarez to the minors and possibly DFA him. Again, zero help now.

True, but for a former All-Star, the Brew Crew probably wants somebody more MLB-ready than one of those 2.

I actually do think that Hader is worth much more than what they give him (too much weight on 2020) but I tried to work with what they gave me.
