I think the main issue is whether the Rockies would deal their franchise player to their division rival. I think they're aware that wouldn't play well with their fanbase.
I disagree that this would be the main issue. Dodgers simply aren't looking to offset that much cash. The front office doesn't haphazardly give away their top prospects and I think they'd rather keep the prospects than the cash.
