Homer Bailey is quietly putting together a solid bounceback year. He’s no ace, but he can eat innings as a #4 or #5 starter. And since any team that acquires him only has to pay the pro-rated league minimum, there’s a dash of value there. And Diekman to the A’s is a no-brainer.
The return to the Royals seems reasonable too. They’re playing with house money on both those guys, so it’s all profit for them. I like it.
