Cleveland gets a RH power hitter that can play 1B, 2B, SS, 3B and a COF spot and can even pitch in a pinch because he Starred as a two-way player at Arizona, including a standout performance in the 2016 College World Series as a starting pitcher in which he carried the Wildcats to a runner-up finish. Winner, winner for the former top 100 prospect and these two franchises.

Bobby Dalbec went 3-for-5 with a double (6), three RBI (19), and a stolen base (4) in yesterdays 10-9 WooSox win. He’s currently slashing .258/.381/.505 with five home runs over 113 PA at Triple-A.

At triple A. What has he done in the majors? Nothing. And he is almost 28. He is what he is – a AAAA player. Just a note, in 825 career MLB at bats, Dalbec has struck out 320 times. He struck out 7 times in 11 MLB at bats this season. Wow, what a hitter.

That’s a RH Power Bat off the bench that the Guardians desperately need and with his defensive versatility he could really help late in games.

He’s the missing piece for a Guardians World Series Run

Cleveland doesn’t have that much interest in Dalbec…
