I’m really not understanding the downvotes on this trade. Indians get a solid young bat in Frazier, a guy that can play 1st, and a couple prospects. Sure it’s for 1 year, but if you can sign him to an extension, then it worth it in my opinion. People need to cool off with the downvotes, and stop downvoting just to downvote. It’s really annoying.

I agree. One enhancement we’re looking at for the next phase of the site is to identify users with their favorite teams, so the downvotes and upvotes can be counted by fans of each team in the proposal. That might help avoid some of the generic voting.

Simply because the Yanks can’t afford to trade what appears to be their starting left fielder in Frazier, that’s why.
What may seem fair for the Indians, may just be impractical for the Yankees.
