This trade has mutual benefits to teams:
Since Balt won’t sign FAs , they get cheap AAAA players (or better) with mlb experience and options.
LAD moves 3 players with 40man status so opens roster for NRIs, Balt adds 2 40man prospects.
Balt gets change-of-scenery AAA prospects who may develop with playing time.
LAD gets several high draft/low performing Balt prospects with options to develop in minor
Balt gets several 1B/C/and LHB-UF which are strong prospects but blocked at LAD by Smith/Freeman/Lux

This trade is P/R neutral in 2022 and foreseeable future.
