    Down vote for Oakland.

Pereira just got promoted to AA because Cashman wants to spotlight him as a trade chip. Never take the guy Cashman wants to use as a centerpiece.

Luis Medina will be available on waivers soon enough. The guy can’t throw strikes, he’s an easy “No”.

    They all look good Grover.

This would be a good deal for the A’s I think.

Medina looks good, long legs, uses his entire body to drive the ball. Great breaking ball for strike outs. FB 95,

Beltre with a solo shot (7) & Anthony Volpe with a Home run as well, yea, Volpe is the real deal, he’s not getting traded.

Top 5, Can’t stay for whole game, need to be on my way.

Oops, almost forgot, Casas is here and playing 3B (a little surprising he’s at 3rd) looks healthy to me, made a real nice play & throw.

Medina has never walked fewer than 5 per 9 over the course of a season. He’s always “looked” great and then you realize he can’t throw strikes. Plus he’s burning his last minor league option this year; he needs to be on a big league roster next year and I don’t think he’s performing anywhere close to that.

Glad to hear Casas looks healthy.

Koss not Casas (must of had Casas on my mind because a few of us were talking about him) it was reported on the local sports talk radio that he was going to AAA but was dealing with an iffy hammy but he’s still here in Portland.

Christian Koss has moved around all year. Centerfield yesterday, third base today. This season, he’s started 43 games at shortstop, 16 at third base, 13 at second base, and one in center.

    Sorry about that

Jay Groome is on the move to join the AAA WooSox! Thought Koss was going as well.

Groome was 3-4 with a 3.52 ERA with the Sea Dogs this season and struck out 81 hitters in 76.2 innings.

Groome was scheduled to start in Portland today, but Dylan Spacke got the start instead.
