Don’t think the Jays would be after Merryfield. They have Biggio filling the utility role and Whitt isn’t vaccinated so unless that changes he can’t play with Toronto
Whit basically said he’d get vaxed if he went to a good team, but even if not they could swap in Taylor instead, or just do Barlow for Groshans straight up. 3B is a need throughout the Royals’ system.
