I decided to get Myers off the Padres hands and move my two most tradeable players, which Hoyer and company failed to do at the deadline, on ONE CONDITION! Pads must toss A.J. Preller in on the deal. There’s a real G.M. Jed’s plan was to sign a boatload of crap in the off-season (Miley, Smyly, Villar, Simmons, Frazier, etc., not to mention Martin, Givens, Robertson, Suzuki, and Stroman), then trade them for prospects. Plan backfired. Close to $200 million, for what? Not moving Happ and Contreras before the deadline was a major blunder. Mr. Ricketts, fire Jed Hoyer.

I’ll even sneak the $35 million cash back to S.D. When nobody is looking.
