    Down vote for Oakland.

The return is light. I’m not sure if AZ is going to have much interest in Murphy, so I can see the argument that they wouldn’t want to give up more than this package, but that just means they don’t land Murphy.

Arizona has now interesting young players and seem to be a team on the way up, a deal like that is still really unlikely I would say, also not imposible, they have made aggresive moves in the past. Also this is a no for Oakland, Rivera is not that super exciting.

I know A’s have underpaid according to BTV in a lot of their trades, but they haven’t for Olson, and I’m sure they would not do that for Murphy with 3 years of control left. Both Arizona and Oakland need hitting prospects, so I do not see a deal here. I would say Arizona is more likely to trade Gallen, replace him with the young pitching prospects coming up and build a lineup around Marte, Carroll and prospects that they get back in return for Gallen.
