This may be a good trade for
    Detroit
But it’s a terable trade for Seattle
    Kilinec has came back up
    With a bit better..disapline..
    And W inker
Is wanning..and prob will be used as DH

Yes. that .219 obp in the first half really improved all the way to .222 obp in the second half. That discipline is a premium…

I think Ulmax is talking about Kelenic’s most recent call up. His September numbers look great for 4 games so far. 18 plate appearances really aren’t much but I think for a very young player who was their top prospect up until his debut this is a very promising sign for that high potential he’s had. Overall, I agree that this isn’t a good trade for Mariners with Kelenic’s recent success

4 games is too small of a sample size to deem Kelenic a breakout

        • Jaime Hernandez

Right and I’m not saying he is a breakout. All I’m saying is he’s finally showing some success and he’s still very young with lots of promise. Way too much potential to give up on

I mean, 4 games isn’t exactly “recent success”. It’s one good series. I need at least a month to reverse any trends in my mind and start to believe. Is that fair?

So the Mariners will give up one of their prized prospects (a 23 year old with multiple years of MLB control who has raked in the MiLB.) for… A left-handed reliever?

Lay off the pipe my Dude.
