Roark and Hernandez are having suprising good years and are still low value which fits the Phillies since they don´t want to sell the farm this year and are huntig for buy low deals like last year. Reds get an outfielder who has no spot in Philly even with the Mccutchen injury but he has shown glimpses of being a everyday player.

  2. Williams has struggled so much that I would think Cincinnati could get a better piece for Roark.

yes he has, the reason he is valued so low is that he becomes a FA next year and the salary for this year is 10M, Williams has been a top prospect but his issue is lack of playing time and when he did get it he was terrible, i was tempted to put another mid level prospect but i feel like this deal could happen at the deadline, if the reds are a bit desperate.

I agree that the Reds would want a prospect or two in this package, rather than Williams and cash.
