    I can’t see the Mets trading McNeil. His stock continues to rise, and may rise further over the longer-term. Wheeler alone makes sense to the A’s, though, presuming the Mets become sellers.

    As an A’s fan, I would accept this trade in a second but I don’t see the Mets agreeing.

    If the Mets want to win now, they want to keep McNeil and Wheeler.

    If the Mets want to rebuild, they want to keep McNeil.
