Interesting package. I think the Indians would consider it.
Yes, it is interesting, but I have a hard time seeing Cleveland, a small market team, taking on 57-58 million dollars of Wil Myers contract. That contract is an albatross for a small market team. It also would take away any chance of talking Lindor into staying. I would also think the Tribe would want one pitching prospect in the package. Naylor and Reyes are both weak defensively and could both end up DH’s which also would not be good.
Myers is owed over 20 mil each of the next two years. Cleveland would have to get back atleast 25 mil. I think they would want a high end pitching prospect coming back. It might work with Morejon instead of Naylor and France.
