No immediate help for the Guards, downvote for them. Good match with Plesac and the Cubs though. Maybe a Plesac for Happ swap, obviously with more pieces, but how does that sound?
Happ for Plesac, Will Benson, and Enyel De Los Santos? (15.40 to CHC, 14.90 to CLE)
I think if the cubs were to go that direction with happ, cleveland would have to give up civale instead of plesac, but I don’t see the cubs trading happ with where they are at right now. Maybe chicago could include a guy like adrian sampson in this deal for a different prospect from the guardians side? Just a hypothetical idea. Thanks for the input!
It’s still not enough or should I say any benefit to Cleveland. They aren’t looking to dump Civale so it will be a good return or he’ll stay. Would any of those 3 being in Cleveland’s top 20? The answer is no, and you want a good #4 SP with a track record? It doesn’t work that way.
