Hahahaha, fun with values. In a vacuum, this is a pretty fair trade. Heck the Braves will even throw in Burkhalter to tip the value scale in the Rangers’ direction. While “Surplus” might even out, the 0.7 AFV that Ozuna brings to the table is the key/punchline to this joke. A whopping 346 AFV being given up by the Rangers. As a Braves fan, I’d love to see this trade happen for many reasons, but this doesn’t even happen dreams. I’m surprised the site let you even propose it, but it’s a fun game to play with numbers.
Let’s hope that Dave Stewart fields this proposal on behalf of the Rangers.
